CHEVELLE At Work On New Album, Confirm New Bassist

February 3, 2006

Launch Radio Networks reports: CHEVELLE has posted a message at its official web site, ChevelleInc.com, saying that the band is currently writing and recording material for its fourth album. No other details on the project were made available. A spokesperson has told Launch that frontman Pete Loeffler and drummer Sam Loeffler have chosen their brother-in-law, Dean Bernardini, as a permanent replacement for their brother and bassist, Joe Loeffler, who was dismissed from the band last year.

The group has posted a live version of its song, "The Clincher", at its web site. The clip was shot in CHEVELLE's hometown of Chicago.
